Birthdays have always been treated as very important holidays in my family. Birthday signs grace the hallways of our house, the whole gang gets together for dinner, and lots of presents and treats are enjoyed. As I approach my 26th birthday,  I wanted to gather some of my favorite birthday-isms that are fun, simple, and clever. When it comes to celebrations, I love paying attention to details while keeping things simple and not too fussy. The 'basics' are always a crowd favorite and often the most nostalgic-- and I'm always nostalgic on birthdays.
