the hallo-weenie

Many people spend weeks preparing for a creepy, crawly, scary, October 31st. Personally, I've never been a fan of that Halloween. Really, I'm just a big Hallo-weenie! The ghouls and goblins and zombies scare the snot out of me and I spend the last of day of October just trying not to get spooked. My favorite kind of Halloween is the rated-G, silly, goofy, funny, family-friendly, and HAPPY Halloween. Bright colors, lots of googly eyes, and clever decorations are what get me most excited -- enjoy some of my favorite Halloween internet finds:

/Can't we all just embrace some goofy Halloween-ness?

/Can Halloween snacks get any cuter? (or healthier?)

/More cute Halloween eats!

/A different twist on pumpkin decorations

/These goofy pumpkins know how to have some fun!

/Cute for a table centerpiece or some outdoor decor, these mummified jars are a great use for a Pinterest-favorite: mason jars!

/Paint-dripped pumpkins look really cool and are much safer than carving!

/Another take on the paint-dripped pumpkin:

Now go and enjoy your own HAPPY Halloween!

  1. I'm not a big fan, either. My son LOVES Halloween so I worked hard to embrace the holiday.

    1. You're brave! I have to leave scary-halloween to others. Even at work I have to avoid the creepy costumes and fake blood. Just too icky for me!
